I’m writing this from the gym. One of the many activities that are better than using twitter. I’ll make this quick, as typing while on the treadmill is probably not ideal.
I’m going to attempt a Twitter Detox Challenge. One week of not going on twitter. Now, I will blog and when I hit “publish” WordPress will send it to my twitter account and post it on my twitter for people to see. That’s okay. This challenge is more of a way for me to not tweet all the time and scroll past all the nonsense i see everyday on my timeline. Political hot takes and self-improve platitudes. It’s getting boring. Maybe I’m using it wrong. Maybe it’s not you, it’s me. Whatever the reason, time for a twitter hiatus.
I’ll be recording my podcast and writing a bit and will make sure to post that to twitter. But no more scrolling first thing in the morning and right before bed and all the time in between. No checking notifications. If you want to chat, message me here in my blog. That will be the best place to reach me, although one week isn’t that long so I think we’ll survive.
